The Shabbat dinner attire is “dressy casual.” For women, a sundress or jumpsuit would be great! For men, nice pants and a collared shirt or similar. Wedding dress code is cocktail attire. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors overlooking the ocean on grass. For men and women, feel free to wear comfortable shoes. Wedges, sandals, or nice sneakers are appropriate. For women long dresses, midi dresses, or jumpsuits are perfect! We encourage colors, florals, fun patterns, or whatever you are most comfortable in! Mini skirts and mini dresses are not appropriate. For men, no ties are necessary. Wear a dress shirt and pants, with a blazer.
The hotel is an 8 minute drive from the airport. The hotel doesn't provide transportation to and from the airport, so you'll have to catch a taxi or uber (uber works in Mexico if you have cell service to order one). It shouldn't be more than 50-150 Pesos or $5-10 USD. On wedding day, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue! It's about a 40-minute drive, so buckle up! We are providing refreshments for the drive.
You will need a valid passport with at least 6 months before it expires, so make sure to double check yours!
Yes very, especially at the resort! You most likely will not need to leave the resort grounds except for our chartered bus to the wedding venue. Puerto Vallarta is a popular tourist destination, but use your best judgement when traveling. We do recommend leaving expensive valuables at home just to be safe.
