Although many mistake her for my older sister, this is in fact, my younger sister. Before she was born, I demanded a sister from my parents and they delivered. I later came to regret this decision (just kidding). We are very different, but the same in many ways. She is extroverted and is responsible for half the broken handles and towel racks in our house due to her brute strength, but she is also gentle and kind, always willing to help out anyone in need. I am proud to have her as my sister and am also thankful for her service to our nation as a Navy nurse!

Chris and I met during my first year at Gettysburg and we later lived together during our second year. Chris is a special kind of guy who is both kind and talented and he is someone I trust to always have my back. Chris is not only one of my best friends, he is also my best man.

Jana and I met at the beginning of PA school when we sat next to each other in the back row of the classroom. Throughout the first semester we talked more and eventually went to Bath and Body Works together and bought each other a hand sanitizer for our birthdays, which are only 3 days apart. As they say, the rest is history. Jana is my snuggle buddy, my shoulder to cry on, and my person. Her texting skills are horrible, but I know that eventually she will respond to my giant blocks of texts I send on the daily. I am so incredibly thankful to have met this gentle, loving soul!

Ezra and I met during our classes at LECOM and not only is he incredibly smart but he is also one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I have really enjoyed getting to know him and I consider myself lucky that I can call him a friend and one of my groomsmen.

Katia and I first met at the very beginning of Josh and I's relationship and I knew right away what a sweet and funny girl she was. She enjoys playing the Sims just like I do and was the first person to text me bright and early that Sims 4 finally had toddlers. She is an A+ cat mom and probably a better gamer than her brother. I always enjoy our time together and am so proud of her! I am so excited to gain another sister in September!

Mark and I also met during my first year at Gettysburg at the world famous Stine Hall. While Mark may be the most Russian guy I know, he is also a huge cat lover and has a wonderful chonk named Otto!

Emily and I have known each other since Kindergarten and played CYO basketball together throughout elementary and middle school. We became best friends in 8th grade waiting for her bus after school which was always late. We spent nearly every day together and walked the streets of Frackville, eating at China Panda and buying all the latest nail polish from Rite Aid. She is creative, quirky, and turned me into a model for many backyard photo shoots. I am so lucky to have had such a great person as my friend for so long.

Cole and I initially met at an orientation bowling event LECOM hosted in the beginning of med school. He is outgoing and strong willed, and he has volunteered so much of his time that it was amazing he was still able to study and do well in class.

Lauren and I met at the beginning of PA school and became friends after I accosted her in the parking lot of La Caretta and invited myself over to watch the fourth season of Sherlock. She was my first friend at PA school and I couldn't have made it through that first semester without her. Apartment 108 became our home and we spent many hours being silly, fangirling over Benedict Cumberbatch and Noel Fielding, and drinking Dr. Pepper. She has continued to light up my life with her constant laughter and positivity and am so thankful that I have her as a best friend.

Justin and I met at LECOM and if they had superlatives there I would have voted him as the most likely to succeed. Justin is one of the most reliable and studious people that I know and I learned a lot from him during our many great quiz/study sessions at Starbucks.
Sarah Hamaker

Sarah and I became friends after being partners at the Free Clinic of Central Virginia, where we bumbled our way through patient interviews and presenting to our preceptors. My favorite first memory of Sarah is when I asked her why she sat so far away from the steering wheel (because I thought she was my height), but in fact she is like 5'7" or something (I'm 5'1"). Our friendship was sealed from then on. Sarah's love for her animals and her friends was obvious from the beginning, as was her kindness and compassion for others. I am so lucky to have her as a friend!

Rob and I initially met by email as we both needed a roommate to live with while we went to LECOM. Rob and I bonded over the fact that we love to keep the house cool, even in the winter, and to this day, he is the only person who willingly tolerated living with me for 2 consecutive years.
Nina Ong-Pham

Nina and I met in PA school and from the beginning we all knew she was the leader and the organizer of our class. As time went on we became closer and we formed a lovely group that sat together in a study room we claimed as our own. Nina's apartment became the hangout of choice and that's where we watched countless movie, singing along to the Greatest Showman and crying over A Star is Born. Nina has kept my sometimes frantic self always level headed and the person who I come to when I need life advice. We've been classmates, lab mates, and roommates, but I am so insanely happy that she is one of my best friends! Nina will be celebrating with us from afar as she and her husband are due to welcome a baby girl on September 17th!!!

Paul and I met at Gettysburg where we bonded over our late-night video game sessions while living in Science House. Paul is a gifted musician and he is one of the funniest guys I've ever known.
