We understand this stay is on the pricier side, but would love to have all of our guests in one place. With all events within walking distance no one will have to be a designated driver, no one will have to worry about traveling back & forth, and staying on site will give you access to several activities and amenities included in the cost of your room. If you chose not to stay on site, you will not be eligible to access a variety of activities at Skytop & will not be able to utilize the resort's amenities. We understand this financial commitment and truly appreciate if you choose to stay with us.
All three stays are very close in proximity. We have people primarily staying at the Lodge or the cottages. All restaurants, activities, and events are primarily located at the lodge. But your choice of stay is up to you and what you feel comfortable with. There are also some Airbnb’s nearby that may be an option for your group.
Many of the events listed in the schedule will be finalized closer to the wedding. Sarah and Alex will be conducting sign ups and head counts for activities such as golf and hiking. Many other activities on-site are available to those staying at the property either based on a schedule provided by the lodge that weekend (i.e. nature walks, Skytop adventure course, organized events by Skytop) or on your own time (i.e. arcade, ice cream shop, pool, gym).
Up to you! We will have events during the day on Saturday as people roll-in, but no pressure to join us for It all. We have these events so people have things to look forward to, get to engage with and meet others, as well as have quality time with the bride and groom. Friday, Saturday, or Sunday arrival - it’s up to you!
Semi-formal/Cocktail! If you know Alex and I, you know we aren’t very formal people and we want our wedding to reflect that. The ceremony is in a garden with a slightly uneven surface so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes ladies! The cocktail hour is on a lawn before we move indoors to a ballroom for dinner. Wedding colors: we ask that you don’t wear white (save that color for the bride!). The wedding party will be wearing terracotta for the bridesmaids and medium grey for the groomsmen/groom. We ask that you refrain from wearing terracotta. Thank you in advance!
