Many people think Alex and Sarah’s story started in April of 2018 but truth-be-told it started long before that… Flashback to 2013-2014 school year, Sarah and Alex first met in high school AP Stat class. Partners on projects and sitting near one another, Sarah and Alex remained only classmates until their paths crossed again at Penn State.

Flashforward to April 2017, Sarah gets a message on Facebook from Alex that reads: “Hey! Wow I totally didn’t mean to ignore you last message like a while ago haha sorry” *last message sent in September of 2015* “But anyway sorry this is random, I have a few questions about thon/organizations in general and figured you’d be a good person to talk to if you don’t mind.” Their conversation continued off and on through the remainder of spring and summer of 2017. When the time came to go back to school, Alex and Sarah met in person at Panera in State College followed by a visit to the farmer’s market. As a conclusion to this meet-up, Alex asked Sarah to go on an official date to which Sarah lied, “My sister and I are kind of on a boy strike but I’ll think about it and let you know.” Ultimately saying yes, the following week, Alex took Sarah to the Tavern for their first official date. The rest of the semester they talked and spent lots of late nights at the library together. Come December, Sarah and Alex decided to part ways. A few months passed and Sarah realized the mistake she had made. Running into Alex’s friends at the Phyrst, tipsy Sarah shared with them how much she missed Alex. His friends quickly relayed the message and the couple began talking again, making things official on April 1st, 2018. This was no April Fool’s day joke (we hope) as they’ve been dating ever since.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be on September 11th, 2022. We want this to be a weekend celebration with close friends and loved ones.
