We're getting married!

While friends from a distance, Marcus and Alex's love unknowingly began on a night out in San Diego in December of 2017. For the next few months, Face-times became a daily occurrence, as Alex lived in Baltimore while Marcus lived in Salt Lake City. Finally push came to shove, and a visit from Alex to Utah cemented their relationship. Marcus lept at the chance to be Alex's boyfriend, and they celebrated by partying at Preakness all day. The rest as they say, is history. 35 months after that night out in San Diego, Marcus proposed at Deep Creek Lake in front of family and best friends on Halloween. Alex turned 30 the next day. It was a memorable weekend!
