Hotel
This is the venue for our wedding and happens to be a boutique hotel. While there is limited availability, guests are welcome to book here as well if they so choose!
Flight
We recommend flying into Vincenzo Bellini Catania Airport. To get from the airport to Naxos, we recommend taking an Uber or private car. The airport is a 45+ minute drive to our venue and the corresponding hotel blocks. Full transportation options range from public (bus = $7-8) to private (uber / private car = ~$100-140 depending on size of party and timing of travel). The hotels can also arrange transportation per request, which we highly recommend. We encourage you to utilize these options over renting a car but feel free to refer to our guide of tips / best practices if you so choose to do so. For those traveling other parts of Sicily beforehand, Catania is the major airport / city adjacent to our wedding venue so please make sure you plan travel accordingly.
Rental Car
Sicily, while beautiful, is certainly not for the weary when it comes to navigating the roads. If you are going to rent a car, we URGE you to read the following suggested guidelines: (1) Rent a car from Catania airport for the best prices and optimal convenience (2) It is highly advisable to elect for full comprehensive coverage (3) If you cannot drive a manual, make sure you are using one of the major car rental agencies (e.g., Enterprise, Hertz); the local ones are very likely to stick you with a manual car regardless if you reserve an automatic as there is limited availability (4) Be very mindful of your belongings and surroundings and DO NOT leave your bags unattended in the car. While Sicily is a wonderful and beautiful place, better safe than sorry.
