Years of Friendship: 18 Source of Friendship: Step-sisters Friendship Peak: In their senior year of college, Alana and Bri went for their lifelong dream and auditioned for the Amazing Race together as "team ex-stepsisters". They woke up at 4am and drove down to South Denver to wait outside of a Sports Authority until they could audition. Not only were they 10th in line, they made the local news! However, they did not receive a call back.

Years Of Friendship: 20 Source Of Friendship: Childhood Friend Friendship Peak: Ian had the honor of driving Denver out to his new job in Virginia a few years ago. It was a long drive from Colorado and they had a great time making many pit stops along the way. They visited family in Kansas City and even made it to an Ohio State football game. Even though the drive was close to 20 hours, Denver didn’t let Ian drive for even a minute.

Years of Friendship: 13 Source of Friendship: High School friend Friendship Peak: On a couple’s European vacation in 2017, the boys wanted to tour a soccer stadium. Alana and Tara decided it would be much more fun to adventure around London on their own. They spent the day exploring, shopping and sipping on outrageously expensive cocktails.

Years Of Friendship: 15 Source Of Friendship: High School Friend Friendship Peak: Will and Ian attend every CU home game together and they didn't hesitate at the chance to make the trip to Nebraska for the big rivalry game last fall! During this trip, the boys had to share a full size bed in an unfinished basement in the middle of rural Lincoln, Nebraska. The boys tried their best not to spoon and somehow made it through the sleepless night with 400 crickets residing in the basement with them. Both of them will tell you that horrid night sleep was worth it because CU got the big W!

Years of Friendship: 10 Source of Friendship: Sorority Sisters Friendship Peak: Brin was the only one crazy enough to join Alana on her big move to Seattle. On the first night in their new apartment before they had any furniture, they slept on air mattresses on the dining room floor together. Oh, the joys of entering adulthood.

Years Of Friendship: 15 Source Of Friendship: High School Friend Friendship Peak: A few years ago, Alan, Gritz and Ian all flew down south to attend a friend’s wedding in Chile. The trip was spectacular and a week they will never forget. They spent hours seeing beautiful sites, adventuring and attended a gorgeous wedding. However, the trip home didn’t go so well. After their flight got canceled, briefly getting separated, and a few dry ham sandwiches later, they finally made it back to the states after 24 hours and their bond was stronger than ever.

Years of Friendship: 13 Source of Friendship: High School Friend Friendship Peak: Back in college, Alana joined Casey’s family on a long ski weekend. They did the same run over and over again filming each other going over a sick jump, only to watch the footage later to realize they only got an inch or two of air. After the days of skiing, both of them being freshly 21, had a little too much fun bar hoping in Downtown Vail.

Years Of Friendship: 25 Source Of Friendship: Little League Teammate Friendship Peak: Travis and Ian took an epic road trip through multiple national parks, and hiked through Utah. The most unforgettable part of the trip was ending in Las Vegas for a full night of debauchery. The boys watched the sunrise over the Las Vegas trip, with Ian proudly having $1,000 in his pocket from his wins at the roulette table.

Years Of Friendship: 16 Source of Friendship: Step-sisters Friendship Peak: To celebrate their 25th and 27th birthdays, Ange and Alana went on a sister date to the Justin Bieber concert! They dressed according to his "Sorry" music video and fit right in with all the 12 year old girls. Without realizing it, they bought the cheapest tickets that were behind the stage. Not backstage, actually behind the stage. Not able to see Bieber at all, they snuck into the front of the audience and watched his whole concert front and center.

Years Of Friendship: 20 Source Of Friendship: Childhood Friend Friendship Peak: Gritz and Ian have been friends since they were young boys, and when Gritz went off to college at University of Oregon, there was no doubt Ian would be visiting him often. A bucket list item for Ian was to go see a Duck football game. The boys were ready to make this happen and went to scalp some tickets. After multiple, attempts they were all way too expensive. Feeling crushed, they were determined to get in there. Instead of the hefty ticket prices, they snuck into the stadium and got to watch the Ducks win for free!

Years of Friendship: 7 Source of Friendship: Sorority sisters and Seattle Gal Pals Friendship Peak: Lauren and Alana went on a two day back packing trip in Washington. Without going into too much detail, let's just say Lauren really taught Alana a lot about the wilderness... They jumped into freezing glacier water and spend hours chatting about their hopes and dreams, mainly about boys.

Years Of Friendship: 17 Source Of Friendship: High School Friend Friendship Peak: Back in college, St. Patrick's day fell on the first weekend of the NCAA tournament and if you know these boys, it is no secret they love to talk about sports. After a great day filled with basketball, and celebrating Duke and Michigan losses, they knew it was going to be a good night. These games set the stage for a wild night of too much jager and roaming around Boulder late into the night. An all-time weekend!

Years of Friendship: 10 Source of Friendship: Sorority Sisters Friendship Peak: While on spring break in Cabo senior year, Allison and Alana stumbled upon some adorable puppies on the beach. After spending way too much time letting these wild pups rub all over their bodies, they seriously considered trying to find a way to bring them back to the US. Who knows who finally decided it wasn't a good idea, but since then Alana and Allison have always bonded over their love of dogs.

Years Of Friendship: 25 Source Of Friendship: Childhood Neighbor Friendship Peak: It all started in 1995 with a youth soccer team when Ian's dad traded Denver Powell (the best man) for Shaun. After years of playing sports together, they won their little league championship in 2001. It was one of the greatest games of their life and Ian still watches it on home videos, although Shaun went 0-4 that night.

Frantic and upset, Alana called Kelsey, who she knew would care for her in this difficult time and help remember Stephanie the right way. Late at night in the Seattle rain, Kelsey and Alana had a beautiful service for Stephanie, listening to Enya and talking about fond memories of Steph. These two animal lovers hit it off instantly.
