Lewis and Aimee met on new year's eve when 2015 turned into 2016! They were each out with friends who decided to end the night at Sidney's Saloon. They were at the bar when Lewis started talking to Aimee. She thought he was pretty cute, so they exchanged numbers and a few days later they had their first date at Baru. The rest is pretty much history!

Lewis and Aimee love to travel, so Lewis suggested a vacation during New Year's Eve. Aimee thought they were going to Miami to escape the cold weather and spend some time on the warm beach. When the couple landed in Ft. Lauderdale, Lewis surprised Aimee with a boarding pass to Paris! She now knew why he talked her into packing a coat and some sweaters. Aimee couldn't stop smiling at Lewis...he was whisking her away to one of her favorite cities! After spending a few days exploring Paris, Lewis told Aimee they were going to an early New Year's Eve brunch, so they put on their fancy clothes. Instead of brunch, Lewis took Aimee on a stroll through Les Jardins du Luxembourg. He stopped in front of the Medici Fountain and asked her to marry him! Her response was an enthusiastic "of course!" When they finally made it to brunch, Lewis had another surprise for Aimee. Both of their mothers and Lewis' sister were there to celebrate with them. What an amazing, romantic, and unforgettable story.
