Why has the wedding moved?

Answer

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are most concerned about our guests' health, well being, and safety. As this is a difficult time for many, we thought best to postpone. To all our guests we hope you and your families are able to stay healthy and safe during this time. We are thinking of all you! We apologize for any inconvenience the change in date may have caused. We know everyone lives busy lives, and we do respect your time. We would love for you still to be able to attend our big day, with hopes for the best outcome by August. Our venues and vendors have reported their strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and our vendors are doing everything in their power to provide a clean and safe environment. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out. We are hoping to celebrate with you August 7, 2020!!!!

Are there any Covid-19 Guidelines for the Day?

Answer

We are so excited that you are able to attend. As much as we want you there, if you are feeling sick on the day, please stay home and feel better! Guests are welcome to wear masks if they choose, but are not required. -For the ceremony the church is large enough for parties to social distance if they choose. It is at guests discretion, and those who choose to sit together are allowed as those who choose to distance. - For reception: employees are screened before each shift, and will be wearing masks at all times. During the event employees disinfect touched surfaces, and they have implemented touch free measures. They are taking further measures to ensure health and safety. If there are any concerns, please email/call/text Aidan or Sammi. We can then provide the official statement from our venue.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. The reception has balconies for some fresh air, and views of the city!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you feeling great and comfortable enough to dance the night away! That in mind, it is a semi formal event. Feel free to wear cocktail dresses, suits, gowns, or tuxes. We kindly request no jeans.

Travel or Hotel Recommendations?

Answer

For out of town guests, you can fly into St. Louis Lambert Airport. KEEP IN MIND INTERNATIONAL GUEST MAY NEED AN ESTA VISA OR TRAVEL VISA TO ENTER THE US. Additionally, there are Greyhound bus stops and Amtrack trains. We have reserved room blocks at two preferred hotels. There are other hotel options throughout the area, and great Air B&Bs too. Under the travel tab, there are preferred accommodations, and further links to all your travel and stay needs.

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but our reception is adult only. We want you to have fun! All guest will be listed on invitation.

Any recommendations on what to do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be about a two and a half hour gap in between the two. We recommend taking advantage of being downtown, and taking advantage of the city! If you are staying in a hotel for the evening, it is a great opportunity to check in. The ceremony takes place in an area called Soulard, home to many bars if your'e looking for a drink! The Anheuser Busch Brewery is a half a mile from the ceremony. With free brewery tours ( A little shy of an hour long) and samples, and a Biergarten, there is plenty to do. The area is also filled with fun bars! Additionally you are so close to many great offering in St. Louis for drinks, entertainment, and more. You can always glance at the tab, "Things to do in the Lou" for any further sightseeing recommendations.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, we recommend to come a little early to give yourself time to grab a program and a seat. The reception begins at 5:30 with a cocktail hour! Please allow yourself time to find the parking lot, or locate our venue.

I have dietary restrictions will there be food to accommodate?

Answer

If you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or have other dietary restrictions please inform us so we can ensure our catering can prepare your food just right!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

It is guests responsibility for transport to/from ceremony, and to reception. There will be transport from the reception to downtown hotels at the end of the evening. The city has uber, lyft, and taxis if you are looking for alternative forms of transport. For those who choose to drive, there is free parking at the church and reception. Parking at the church will be in the parking lot behind the church. Parking at the reception will be in a lot at 1701 Lucas Avenue, with complimentary shuttles from the lot to the venue.

Please RSVP by July 10. Please keep in mind, international mail takes longer, 3 weeks at times).

The Wedding Ceremony Takes Place: St. Agatha Polish Roman Catholic Church 3239 S 9th Street St. Louis Missouri 63118 The Reception Takes Place: Windows on Washington 7th Floor 1601 Washington Avenue St. Louis Missouri 63103 The locations and address are listed on the schedule page, as well as your invitations. Both appear on Apple devices "Maps" app, as well as Google Maps with venue names.
