Baraat

The Baraat will be from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Delta Portico (outdoor at the entrance). The festivities will begin with a baraat (processional of the groom’s party with music and dancing) at the Delta Portico (outside the entrance). At the end of the baraat, guests will proceed indoors to Delta Ballroom A to continue the celebrations with the Sangeet.
Sangeet

The word “Sangeet" means music, but when used as a term to describe a celebratory event during an Indian Wedding, it translates to Music Night or Musical Party. This musical night is a celebration of the union of not only the couple, but also the bonding of both families. Join us for a cultural experience and indulge in the colors, sounds, flavors, and tastes of India.

Christian Ceremony

Please join us for the ceremony and celebration of becoming The Dodds! The Deepak-Dodd Wedding will be a formal, Christian ceremony to signify the beginning of Aditi and Reilly's life as a married couple. The program will start with the procession of the Family, followed by the Wedding Party (bridesmaids and groomsmen), and then the entry of the bride accompanied by her father. The pastor will then lead the couple as they say their vows (commitment to each other) and exchange wedding rings. Your bearing witness to this ceremony is a show of support for the couple and bestows them with confidence as they begin their life together. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15pm. Please be seated before that time.
Reception

Immediately following the Christian Ceremony is the Reception on the General Jackson Showboat. We will start boarding the boat at around 6:15pm, with a cocktail hour for those who have already boarded. Once the boat has departed, we will continue with dinner and lots of dancing, with a stop in downtown Nashville to enjoy the views!
