Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We are planning to have shuttle buses from the hotels to the lavender farm. The plan is to have shuttle buses depart each hotel at 3:30pm, with return trips at 9pm and 10:30pm. Note that travel time is approximately 35 minutes. Please note on your RSVP if you are planning to use a shuttle.

What about other transportation options?

Answer

Uber and Lyft will be unreliable due to the lavender farm’s rural setting. We strongly advise against using ride share options and encourage use of the shuttle or a designated driver. Ample parking is available at the farm.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes. We have two hotel blocks in Waynesboro, approximately 30 minutes away from the venue. See Accommodations tab for more details.

Are there other lodging options?

Answer

Yes, there are many AirBnBs and VRBOs located closer to the venue if you'd prefer not to stay in Waynesboro (the hotel blocks are located 35 minutes away). There are lots of options near Wintergreen Resort (15 minutes to farm), but do note transportation will not be provided there.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are receiving a plus one, your invitation will have "and Guest" listed on the address. The online RSVP will also indicate how many seats have been saved for you.

What food are you serving?

Answer

We are having a BBQ-style meal from the Fishin’ Pig. Pork and chicken main options will be available.

Will there be vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes. Please let the catering staff know and they will serve you directly (vegetarian main options will not be in buffet).

Yes! A variety of beer, wine, seltzer, and mixed drinks will be available.
