Through the years, Kaila and Will have shared a love of chemistry, good food, and of course Duncan, the dog Kaila rescued when they moved to Boston in 2018. Keep an eye out on the dance floor for a tall guy with a keen fashion sense!

Adam met Paul when he started at Bosch in the rotational program. Both being Michigan grads, they formed a quick and strong friendship that lasted through moving every 6 months for work. They were both always willing to check out the new cities together, and Adam quickly learned how to deal with Paul's sudden-onset hanger.
Val Ressler

Kaila and Val met in their Master's program at William and Mary when Kaila had to come use equipment in Val's lab. Val, Kaila and Will were inseparable in their program and their friendship has lasted through the years, over states, and through many life events. Val, her husband Dan, and their daughter Amara, now live in Wisconsin.
Ole Wendroth

Adam met Ole through a mutual friend while living in Ann Arbor in 2019. Though they only overlapped living in the same place by 6 months, they kept in touch and always made the effort to visit one another over the past years. They realized their mutual obsession with planes only during a visit to Boston in 2021 and have been AvGeeks together ever since.
Addie Merians

Addie and Kaila met on "Kindergarten Night" during a rush event for Nu Kappa Epsilon (NKE), a music sorority. Addie and Kaila were paired together (#1 matches) as "Big" and "Little." Through the years, Addie and Kaila have stayed great friends and will always be "sisters" for life! Everyone should ask Addie about her adorable dog, Sport!

Dara is one of Adam's oldest friends, they met in the fourth grade and quickly learned about each other's penchant for nice cars. From the days of playing "The Italian Job" on PS2 to traveling to Europe several times together, their friendship persisted and grew over the years and has always been one of those that picks right up where it left off!
Abbie Benson

Abbie met Kaila and Adam during a kickball event in the spring of 2022. Standing on the sidelines, Kaila and Abbie quickly bonded! Both love a good G&T, embrace their quirkiness, and enjoy a good football game with their guys! If you want to talk about the Bills football season, she is your girl!

Joe was Adam's first friend at Michigan. Adam remembers it like it was yesterday, walking into an evening German class to find Joe seemingly more interested in his sandwich than learning a language. But Joe DID love German and that has been a common ground, along with a love for cars and whiskey, that has kept their friendship strong ever since.
Chris Margrey

Chris is Kaila's little brother even though he may not look so...he is about a foot taller. Chris and his wife Sara (who is making Kaila and Adam's beautiful and delicious wedding cake) are both vets and love animals especially their cute puppy, Mowgli. Chris is Kaila's on-call vet and the best little brother a girl could ask for!
Fabian Lischke

Adam met Fabian while working at Bosch in 2017. Adam learned to appreciate Fabian's sense (or lack thereof) of humor - Germans always tell you they're just being direct. Fabian has always been an incredibly loyal friend, which is one of Adam's favorite character traits. Adam likes to annoy Fabian by constantly greeting him with a "Guten Morgen".
Olivia Jones

Adam and Olivia met years ago while Adam was at Bosch in Michigan. Kaila and Olivia met over Adam's birthday weekend in Charleston, SC in March of 2022. Kaila and Adam couldn't picture a better, more out-going officiant, and love watching Love Island with her. Try to listen for her Michigan accent!
