Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP deadline is April 2nd. RSVP will be online through our wedding website and don't forget to select your dinner meal choice as well.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome as are suits and cocktail dresses.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at St. John the Apostle. The reception will take place at The Cavalier at the Oceanfront.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. The cocktail hour will be outdoor/indoor depending on weather.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures. Guests can head to the reception at 5:30 pm for a light cocktail hour. Feel free to explore the Oceanfront or grab a drink at the hotel while you wait.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to venue size. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at The Cavalier. You can call the hotel directly (info on the Travel & Lodging page) and be sure to reserve under "Arellano-Ackermann wedding" to receive the discounted rate. There are also multiple other hotel options along the Oceanfront available.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, but photos at the reception are encouraged! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ackermannandwife so we can keep track of all your pictures!

Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. The reception is located minutes away from all the local hotels. There are public shuttles as well as lyfts/uber available in the area, if needed.
