Shane's fishing buddy! Met for the first time at.... the lake, surprise, surprise! Fished tournaments together all through high school and college, and many beyond then. Can be called upon anytime for advice, a reassuring word, or just to chat. His beard even rivals Shane's.

They met when Mercedes helped Caitlin with her dissertation and also because Mercedes wanted $40 because she was just an undergraduate with not a lot of money. Mercedes enjoys spending Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market with Caitlin and her 3 year old son who Mercedes tries to take home at any chance.

Shane's (not so little) brother. Naturally good at every sport he plays, enjoys bike rides of the motorcycle variety, and always good for a laugh! Will need some encouragement to get on the dance floor.

This is Mercedes's oldest younger sister. When Margeaux was first born Mercedes asked to take her back since she was not an automatic playmate and didn't do anything. But certainly glad our parents didn't return her. Ask her what she is currently listening to as she always finds the hottest new artist to listen to.

Anything outdoors? He is your guy! Anything audio visual? Also your guy! Any musical instrument? Also your guy! Clearly a man of many talents, and a great friend since grade school. Ask him about his (past) choices in facial hair.

Malena is Mercedes's youngest sister and will always be her "first baby." As you can tell from her picture she's not scared of anything and willing try to new activities. She's only coming to the wedding so Shane will take her fishing in the future.

Friend, classmate, roommate, and resident funny guy. Also quite handy as a mechanic! Has a soft spot for fast (or at least fast looking & sounding) cars. 2022 Beer Olympics champion. Treasured friend since grade school and always up for a good time!
Madison King

This is one of Mercedes's longest friendships and met on the high school cross country team. It was not friends at first as Mercedes did not like Madison but quickly changed her mind as she realized how smart Madison was and could help her with her math homework and editing papers.

Mercedes's younger brother and soon to be Shane's brother-in-law! Loves to stay active by biking and running. Studying engineering at CU Boulder. Probably smarter than all of us.
