Question

What shoes should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Ladies: Feel free to wear your fancy heels to the wedding; we will provide flip flops to walk in the sand during the ceremony (and to use at the reception when your feet get tired from dancing!). All other wedding events will not be on sand or grass. Gentlemen: Any dress shoes are fine.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding weekend?

Answer

-Welcome Party: Smart casual; For women, we recommend sundresses, rompers, or dressy pants. For men, we recommend khakis or nice casual pants (no jeans please), button-down or collared shirts. -Ceremony and Reception: Cocktail attire -Sunday brunch: Casual

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm on the beach (weather permitting). Please plan on arriving no later than 4:15pm to allow time to walk to the ceremony site.

Question

What if the weather does not cooperate for the ceremony?

Answer

While we hope for a beautiful, sunny day, we will move the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors at Shell Island Resort in the event of inclement weather. The reception will be indoors.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be at Shell Island Resort. Following cocktail hour, at 5:45, there will be shuttle buses to transport everybody to the reception venue at Bluewater, which is approximately a 10-minute drive. There will be parking available at both the ceremony venue and the reception venue for those that choose to drive themselves. Please note that transportation will not be provided following the reception, however Ubers and Lyfts are readily available and can be scheduled in advance on the app.

Question

Are there any specific parking instructions for the venue?

Answer

There is parking lot located at The Surf Club on Friday night, as well as Shell Island Resort and Bluewater on Saturday.

Question

Can dietary restrictions or food allergies be accommodated during the reception?

Answer

Yes, you will be able to provide information regarding any dietary restrictions when wedding invitations are sent out, and this will be shared with the venues.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We will not be having any children at our wedding ceremony/reception. We are happy to try and assist with childcare in the area, if needed!

Question

Can I bring a plus one if the invitation does not mention it?

Answer

Due to venue capacity restrictions, please only bring with you plus ones who are specified in the wedding invitations. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any specific questions!

Question

Are there any specific guidelines or restrictions regarding photography or videography during the ceremony?

Answer

We would really appreciate if phones are put away during the ceremony so everyone is present in the moment. After the ceremony, feel free to go wild with the pictures!

Question

How do we RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

We will have our guests RSVP online through our wedding website.
