Abby and Graham found their way to the same late-night pizza shop on Halloween night in Chapel Hill, NC, and their mutual friends (and shared love for pizza) led to an immediate spark. Over the rest of their senior year at the University of North Carolina, Abby and Graham grew closer and closer, culminating in numerous escapes to Wrightsville Beach, cheering on the Tar Heels at home basketball games, and bringing their groups of friends together. Following graduation, Abby moved to Pittsburgh to pursue her DPT degree and Graham moved to San Francisco for a career in healthcare consulting. Despite the distance, they always found a way to stay in touch with one another. Finally, five years ago they made things official during a family trip to Wrightsville Beach and have not looked back since. Upon graduating from her DPT program, Abby joined Graham in New York City to start a new chapter together. They love to spend their days in NYC exploring the amazing restaurants, biking to West Village, hanging out with friends, and exploring everything the city has to offer. They also share a love for international adventures, having enjoyed Europe trips together multiples times each year. Our wedding takes us back to Wrightsville Beach, a place where we grew together in college and that has brought us back together with family and friends time and time again over the years. We can't wait to share this special place with the closest people in our lives as we kick off this very special occasion!
