We met at HIIT Fitness in Sacramento (across from Trader Joe's). Tanya would strategically line up near Aaron to be his partner during class. We started dating in March of 2017, four months before Tanya moved to Anchorage, AK. Distance was tough, but here we are!

We were journaling our European vacation on our rooftop terrace in Positano, Italy. We'd seen so many sights and eaten so many things that we couldn't remember what we had for dinner. Aaron realized that he forgot to wish his parents a happy anniversary the day before and went inside to grab his phone. In that moment, Aaron decided it was the perfect time to propose. Aaron had been carrying the ring around with him throughout Europe, unsure of when to pop the question. When Aaron came back up to the rooftop, he got Tanya's attention for her to turn around. She looked over and he was down on one knee. She said, "YES," and they were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Lodi!
