If you have any other questions other than what we have listed here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
Question

What's the weather like in the Catskills in June?

Answer

It's lovely! Typically, the area sees low-70's during the day and can get down to the 50's at night. Bring warm layers! On Saturday we will be almost exclusively outside. We will have a bonfire on Saturday night but warm jackets for the evening are highly recommended. (Think puffy coats, insulated jackets, scarves, etc). Don’t worry, we’ll have a coat check and you won’t have to lug your layers around all evening. If it gets too cold or rains, we'll bring the party inside. The open bar will surely keep everyone warm as well :)

Question

Do you have a color scheme? Dress code? Help!

Answer

Many have asked our wedding color pallet: neutral earthy colors. That said, in terms of what to wear, no colors are off limits and you should wear whatever makes you feel best! Friday is party casual. We’ll be in and out of a local road-side diner. Think date night or dinner with friends. Saturday's events will be cocktail/garden party attire and we'll be almost exclusively outside. SUPER IMPORTANT: Please bring warm layers for the night-time. We will not have heaters other than the bonfire and want you to be comfortable. The ceremony and reception spaces are in the forest on a bed of packed woodchips; plan your footwear accordingly. Sunday is casual - anything goes!

Question

How long should I plan to be in the area?

Answer

Our wedding events begin in the evening on Friday and end at 12pm on Sunday, so we recommend (if possible) that you arrive in the area Thursday pm or Friday am. If you’re flying, please note that the drive from JFK airport is 3 hours. We want everyone to feel like they can relax, spend time getting to know our loved ones, and not be rushed. We highly encourage you to make a trip out of the event since it's such a beautiful place to explore!

Question

Will the wedding be covid safe?

Answer

Every person invited has been vaccinated and boosted, and most of our events will be happening outside.

Question

Food: will there be vegetarian options? What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Every meal provided will have ample vegetarian and pescatarian options. Please let us know if you have a specific allergy and we will make sure to accommodate it. We are already planning to have a few gluten free options and the event will be shrimp-free.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids (!!) but we want you to have a weekend off to relax and party, so our event will be adults only except for our nieces and nephews.
