The epitome of all things Key West! Head here about an hour before sunset to see the street performers. Then, get your camera ready as the sun goes down!
We love this tour! Make sure to be on the lookout for the 6 toed cats!
Our Go-To for all water adventures! From snorkeling trips to eco tours, dolphin watches to parasailing, this is where you can find it all. (Book online at least a day in advance for discounts!)
The iconic buoy that represents the southernmost point in the U.S.A. (At least that's what they like to say...) From here, you are only 90 miles from Cuba!
A good spot to get out of the heat with the kids!
The Seaport area has become one of our favorite areas to stroll. You'll find lots of great happy hour spots and there is always something fun to see, whether you catch the turtle races at Turtle Kraals or tarpon feeding as the fishermen come in. (Bring quarters and grab some "fish food" to throw into the water---you'll want to have your camera ready.)
Awesome spot for pictures! Although it has a beach, the "sand" is pretty rocky, so don't expect to lay out without a beach chair. Bring your snorkel gear--lots of cool stuff to see. If you have time, check out the fort, too!
Interesting tour for the history buffs---this is where Truman spent many winters during his presidency (and many Presidents thereafter).
Duval Street is the main drag that stretches 1 mile from the Southernmost Point to Mallory Square. It is on this street that you'll see what Key West is known for---its shopping, art galleries, live music, and eccentric watering holes!
Dan's favorite spot for fish tacos!
A dive bar with AMAZING live music and fresh popped popcorn. It's where all of the locals hang out, so you are bound to see some interesting characters!
Deep sea and flats fishing charters are offered by several companies throughout Key West. If you are up for something different, try lobstering...the season starts on August 6th. If you are interested in having your catch cooked, there are lots of local bars and restaurants that will cook it to your order for a couple of bucks.
Tucked away in a little square behind Duval you will find Cindy's favorite Cuban coffee stop in the morning!
You MUST get Key Lime Pie in Key West! So good!
