Walter Studios

A historic, art-forward venue of immersive rabbit-holes in downtown Phoenix with a full-service restaurant and multiple bars.

Walter Studios was originally built in 1948 as the home of legendary local Native American-focused label Canyon Records. The building hosted recording sessions for musicians from around the Southwest and expanded into film in 1953, shooting various commercials, movies, and television shows at the property. After years of development, the recently reimagined venue offers food, beverage, world-class production and multiple art-filled spaces to foster magical memories for life.

    In Arizona there is nothing quite like it in terms of its aesthetic. It is a space that can be turned into a fun party space. Whether that is a wedding, cocktail party, or even welcome dinner for your wedding guests.

    My husband and I got married at the Walter Where?house last year and it was the best decision we made. The art, lighting, atmosphere, and overall vibes were unlike anything you could get elsewhere. We had people for months tell us it was the coolest wedding they had ever been to. The staff was great at helping our vision come to life, and everything went perfectly. Highly recommend!

    The Walter Studios transformed their space into a beautiful setting for the wedding. There were several extra touches that they went above and beyond to add. The team was professional and kind, thoughtful and prepared, and flexible for our unplanned rainy day. I highly recommend Walter Studios as a wedding venue.

    We had such a great experience with the Walter venues. We do floral and event planning and they are a dream to work with. Very responsive and accommodating. The space is unique and can accommodates all types of events. We highly recommend working with this group.
