About this venue

After eight years of creating excellent dining experiences at Vernick Food & Drink, we expanded next door to 2029 Walnut Street in 2019. The adjacent space features a boutique wine shop by day and dining room by night, ideal for smaller sized celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and family gatherings. For our special event menus, executive chef, owner, and James Beard Award-winning Chef Greg Vernick presents his version of new American cooking with the impactful, global flavors he has become known for. The wine program celebrates small production wineries spanning natural, orange, and classic old-world styles not readily available in Philadelphia and the bar team serves seasonal craft cocktails for a uniquely memorable experience.

"Three cheers to the chef and kitchen staff for the most delicious food of virtually every variety."

Events can be hosted from 5pm through 10:30pm with dinner served on a long table down the center of the room. We offer a family-style menu for up to 28 guests, or an individually plated, choice-of menu or our tasting menu for up to 20 guests. Our menus change seasonally and can be tailored to your guests dietary preferences. Beverages are charged upon consumption; our Wine Director can help recommend wines to complement your meal.
