Is alcohol allowed on the property?

Yes, we allow beer, wine, champagne, and hard alcohol. However, you must hire a licensed bartending service to serve. NO self-serving of alcoholic beverages outside of the bartending service will be allowed. You will also need to include Host Liquor Liability coverage under your event insurance to protect you from alcohol related accidents, as you are ultimately liable for the safety of your guests.

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes, venue staff will assist in parking the day of your event. This is included in your wedding package. However, we do not allow overnight parking. Bridal party and guests must plan accordingly.

Do you have accessible facilities?

Only some. Due to the venue being located on a hillside, some locations may be difficult to access via wheelchair. However, the reception lawn is easily accessible, and a ramp is located on the side of the lodge for wheelchair accessibility to the deck overlooking the reception lawn. We are able to provide transportation to those who need it down to the ceremony site.

Is there an insurance requirement?

Yes, this is required. Special event liability insurance of $1,000,000 is required for all couples. The insurance, at the renter’s sole expense, will provide and maintain public liability and personal property damage insurance. This will include insuring Valley View Ranch, contractors, and contracted vendors against bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and other loss arising out of the couple’s use and occupancy of the premises. If serving alcohol, this policy will also need to include Host Liquor Liability coverage to protect you from alcohol related accidents.

Do you have an indoor space available for the ceremony and reception in the event of unfortunate weather conditions?

Unfortunately, we do not have an indoor space available. We are exclusively an outdoor venue. However, our reception lawn can fit up to a 40 x 60 foot rental tent, and the ceremony lawn can fit a smaller tent as well. The tents are beautiful when they’re all dressed up in twinkle lights! Can we choose our own food vendor?

Absolutely! You can choose to have a caterer, food truck, or you may even provide your own food. We do not offer any catering services at our venue, nor is there access to an on-site kitchen or refrigeration.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of a cancellation, Valley View Ranch requires written notice. A couple’s deposit is non-refundable as it reflects the venue owner’s inability to book another event on this date and potentially lose revenue.

Are there restrooms on-site?

We do not allow access to the restrooms inside the home. Our couples will be responsible for providing their own portable restrooms, hand washing station, or restroom trailer. We have a designated area for these to be located.

Do you provide an on-site day-of coordinator?

Can we host a rehearsal at the ceremony site?

Accepted Answer

Yes you may! For Saturday weddings, we offer couples the opportunity to come to the venue site for 2 hours on Friday afternoon for early set-up and ceremony rehearsal. However, we do not allow rehearsal dinner to take place on the property.

Are we allowed access to the pool and the patio surrounding it?

No. For the safety of our couples and their guests, we lock up the pool gates and do not allow anyone to enter. However, we do open the pool cover and turn on the surrounding lights for added ambiance.

Question 15

What is your policy regarding open flames and sparkler exits?

Accepted Answer

We have a designated area if the couple desires a sparkler exit. No open flame candles of any kind are allowed. We also allow use of the fire pit, depending on weather conditions and fire danger levels. We want to make sure we do our part to help keep this extremely wooded area safe. It will depend on the fire danger level and any local restrictions set in place. Our team at Valley View Ranch will follow any local recommendations and decide accordingly. Do you allow smoking?

We are a smoke-free and drug-free venue property, as our venue is surrounded by trees and foliage and the fire risk can be very high. Thank you for understanding.
