About this venue
The Place To Be is an event space in Phoenix, Arizona, with all events coordinated by Dr. Laura Jaime. Located on Historic Grand Avenue, this courtyard reflects the eclectic atmosphere of its surroundings. The Place To Be offers three main wedding packages, both designed to reflect couples' individual tastes and preferences. All packages include wedding decor such as ceremony arches, greenery, and rugs. The dedicated staff oversees setup and cleanup and will curate floorplans to match your event's style and size. Laura works closely with each couple during their planning process. You will also have access to a variety of items in their inventory, including linens, dinnerware, and silk flowers. While you are welcome to select your own vendors, The Place To Be is happy to provide you with recommendations. They have partnered with unique entertainment options, including flash tattoos, bartenders, and fire-dancing performances.

We also have a ceremony arch and backdrop with candles, rugs, dried and silk flowers with fresh eucalyptus throughout the space.

Great Space for a Small Wedding
From the moment we booked The Place to Be Weddings and Events, their communication was excellent. Laura and her team were quick to respond to all of our questions and made the planning process seamless. We were very satisfied with the price of the space - it was an incredible value for the beautiful venue and all the services they provided. Laura helped us every step of the way, taking care of the decor, pouring our champagne after the ceremony, and even giving me a few calming tips when I was about to get emotional walking down the aisle. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect thanks to the incredible team at The Place to Be Weddings and Events.

Hosting a private event Phoenix metro and want it to be centrally locatd in the valley 1 mile from "downtown" phoenix, but you also want easy load in and parking because you are 1 mile away from hustle bustle of the skyscrapers? Book your event at this venue! Gracious and professional hands on venue owner/host ! I Performed as DJ at a 60-75 guest wedding reception event and all had a great time here in Spring 2022
Amazing and beautiful day
I can’t thank them enough. Our venue canceled on us last minute and I reached out and they not only were they caring and professional but they moved a bunch around to accommodate me and my wedding 3 weeks before the wedding. It was clean and beautiful and would even rent again for a birthday party or anniversary party. Thank you for making our day so special
