About this venue

The Barn at Jewel Farms was created as an extension of Lake Jewel Farms, a plant nursery and landscaping company in Odessa, FL. Owners Henry and Kristen Arce decided to expand their property and business in 2021, by buying an additional 15 acres of land adjacent to their plant nursery. Their vision was to build a barn as an event center to bring people together for weddings and other special events. We have many other usable event spaces including ceremony locations, a covered patio for cocktail hour, Bridal Suite and The Lounge. Included in all of our venue rentals are a sweetheart table, classic 8 ft. farmhouse tables and matching bench seating. We have an assortment of additional tables for guest book, seating chart, gifts, cake and desserts upon request.

Welcome to The Barn at Jewel Farms

Our 4,000 sq ft event barn is air conditioned with enough space to host up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. It has recess lighting and a spacious bar area any bartender would love. There is a prep kitchen in the Caterers' Shed right outside of the barn.

Let's Get Married!

For outside ceremonies, we offer matching benches to the trellis on the barn lawn. The bases of the trees and the Trellis light up at night. There is a fire pit just off to the side of the ceremony lawn as well. The sun sets behind the trellis.

I can't speak enough of The Barn at Jewel Farms! The management is very professional and friendly. The location is easy to find. The Venue is always clean and sanitized. There's plenty of parking. And the landscape is beautiful. I highly suggest The Barn at Jewel farms for your next event!

The Barn at Jewel Farms has a unique and creative event space that can host a large crowd. It is a sprawling farm that has a great amount of space inside and out of the venue, which is a beautiful converted barn. The service and the family-owned management team has a great reputation for understanding the needs accommodating those needs for the customer. I highly recommend.

All vendors are required to have liability insurance and a license. All events require a liability policy for the day.

We do not have any service charges, food & beverage minimums, catering facility fees or commissions added to our price. We do have some additional services that you can add on to your package, but everything is optional.

Yes, we do require a day of coordinator to be listed on your event planning list. The day of Event Planner/Coordinator is responsible for the day of event decisions and on whom they can rely for any day of event issue resolving. We strongly recommend that this person be a professional planner to ensure your event goes off without a hitch.

We include one staff member on site for the entirety of your event. This member is here to provide a helping hand, drive you around the property on our golf cart for pictures, and provide any guidance needed. However, we don't consider them a coordinator or planner for those small details like timelines and décor. We offer a Coordinator Add-On to your event package.

Food & beverage can be provided by any of our excellent catering and bartending vendors. Choosing your own vendors for food and beverage allows you to customize your event to your specific vision and budget.

Absolutely! All of the vendors listed have worked with us before. They are familiar with our venue and can be hired for any event on premises without additional steps. If you wish to bring a vendor from outside of our list, they will need to sign our vendor agreement and provide us with copies of their business license and insurance.

COMING SOON!! We are in the process of acquiring decor items to offer to customers. We do have a variety of different vendors on our list that are experts in helping with décor and design.

Alcohol on premise MUST be served by an insured AND licensed bartender. For service of alcoholic beverages, if providing your own alcohol, you or the bartender will be required to carry a minimum of $2,000,000.00 liquor liability insurance coverage.

Yes! We also provide rides via golf cart from the parking lot to the barn.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have a ramp to the bridal suite, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

You get access to the property from 9 am until 11 pm. Generally, clean-up is from 10 pm to 11pm.
