Purgy’s Reception Venue

The Perfect Place to Celebrate

Is located slopeside at the Base Area, just steps away from Lift 1. Purgy’s is a popular choice for your alpine reception and pairs perfectly with the Paradise, Boyce, or Engineer Ceremony sites. The practically floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the Purgatory Resort slopes and the outdoor Patio with a firepit offers a nice spot for appetizers and pre-dinner mingling.

The Paradise Ceremony

Gorgeous mountain venue, located outdoors under the wide open Colorado sky with rustic log benches for guest seating.

Gorgeous mountain venue, located outdoors under the wide open Colorado sky with rustic log benches for guest seating. The sweeping views of the stunning Needles Mountains (some of Colorado’s most jagged and spectacular peaks) make this a favorite photo spot year-round.

Included in this room:

Guests can access this mountain-top site from July through September via a scenic chairlift ride with breathtaking views of the majestic San Juans. A walking path travels to the site (limited seating available via shuttle). Guests also ride the chairlift to return to the base area where they find themselves steps away from Purgy’s Reception Venue.

The Boyce Ceremony Site

Romantic Woodland Escape

Available mid-June through mid-October, the Boyce Ceremony Site is tucked among Aspens and Tall Pines with a view of the Needles Range. This outdoor venue is a romantic woodland escape that seats up to 100 on white folding chairs. Guests access the site via a 7-minute shuttle ride from the Purgatory Resort arrival court—the ceremony site pairs with the Purgy’s or DMI Reception Venues.

The Engineer Ceremony Site

Dreamy Alpine Meadow

Situated in a grassy meadow surrounded by Aspens and Tall Pines with a view of the majestic Engineer Mountain in the distance. This lovely outdoor venue features white folding chairs for guest seating and is accessible via a 7-minute shuttle ride from Purgatory Resort Arrival Court. The ceremony site pairs with the Purgy’s or DMI Reception Venues and is available mid-June through mid-October.
