About this venue

The Crested Butte Mountain Wedding Garden is a beautiful wedding and event site tucked in a quiet town park in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. It is a joint project of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival and the Town of Mt. Crested Butte. The magnificent mountain backdrop and spectacular wildflowers make our garden the perfect Colorado outdoor wedding site, as well as an ideal location for your party or special event. The Elk Mountains, hills of wildflowers and, in the fall, golden aspens, are quite simply breathtaking.

Our event spaces

The Garden

The garden will seat about 200 guests. In the Garden a fountain sits underneath evergreen trees beside the garden and there is a two person swing for photo opportunities. An electrical outlet is nearby. There is a bronze sculpture of a young girl gracing the entrance to the garden.

The Pavilion

The Pavilion will seat about 100 to 125 guests for a formal dinner reception. The park pavilion measures 30 feet long plus 12 feet under the porch (no sides); it is 25.5 feet wide. It is completely enclosed on two sides, the third side has a tan all-weather curtain and the fourth side (looking north) is completely open. There are electrical outlets on each wall.
