Located in the heart of downtown Madison, MMoCA’s sophisticated spaces are available to host a wide variety of events. The museum’s Rooftop Sculpture Garden, Lobby, and Lecture Hall could be the perfect spot for your special occasion

Peak season for MMoCA is Fridays and Saturdays May thru October.
Off-season for MMoCA is Friday-Sunday in November thru April, or Sunday-Thursday year round.
All alcohol needs will have to be serviced through your third-party vendors.
With MMoCA being located in downtown Madison, we do not have any on-site parking available. However there are many garages and lots located around downtown Madison that are close to the museum.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Ceremony only events are a 2-hour rental and must conclude no later than 2:30 PM on Saturdays during peak months. More flexibility is available on Fridays and Sundays in the off-season. Reception only or Ceremony & Reception events can start at 5 PM. We will close off the Rooftop Sculpture Garden two hours before the event time to allow for setup, and earlier setup is possible with prior approval. All events must end by 11 PM
Yes. Members have exclusive rights to rent our spaces at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. For wedding couples wanting to have a wedding here, we request that they become MMoCA members at the $250 Langer Society level. This membership can be given as a gift if the couple is not from the Madison area. Chat with us more to learn about the additional perks of being a member at MMoCA!
