About this venue

Today, our vineyards and winery comprise an important part of my family’s agricultural operations, and we’re fortunate to have vineyards that yield enough high-quality fruit to estate bottle all our wines. My wife, Diane, and I are proud that our son and daughters, the fourth generation of Gaineys in the Santa Ynez Valley, are continuing our family’s tradition of farming and winemaking in this most beautiful region of California. We invite you to come to visit us the next time you’re in Santa Barbara wine country.

The Barn at Gainey is perfect for couples who want rustic-chic elegance set against the pastoral loveliness of rolling hills, a creek, and live oaks. Built in the 1890s, The Barn is located on the Gainey Ranch about a half-mile drive from the winery. This site offers a distinctive setting that allows you to use multiple spaces with everything from a sweeping meadow, to the shade of live oaks, to the rural charm inside the barn. The Barn is an enchanting site unlike any other property in the Santa Ynez Valley.
