Welcome to historic Board Landing Farm! Belfast is in stunning coastal Maine, an adorable, artsy town on Penobscot Bay. Just 2.5 miles from the heart of downtown’s shops, restaurants, breweries, and music venues. Board Landing Farm is available for weddings, elopements, and photo shoots. The property offers an indoor, modern loft for getting ready, and two ceremony lawns and cocktail areas to choose from depending on if you want to be on the water or overlooking the water. Unique to the property there is a natural waterfall, enormous glacial rock, miniature donkey(s), and boat dock access for a nautical arrival or departure. Dozens of acres of rolling open fields are balanced by the surrounding privacy of lush, tall trees. Our property is a peaceful and private estate that will provide a beautiful and natural setting for your wedding day! Come see us, make an appointment to see the property.     Board Landing Farm is a treasure on the water. A terrific venue for couples wanting the quintessential Maine experience complete with bald eagles flying overhead! There are multiple locations for the ceremony- on the pier, in front of a beautiful glacial rock, or at the top of hill overlooking the water. There is easy vehicle access to each vista, so it is easy to get supplies in and out. Lovely sloped setting helps create multiple viewpoints, with flatter spots for a large tent. A beautiful and rustic location.

    This blank canvas property overlooks the Passagassawakeag River near Belfast Bay. A large grassy field with incredible views was the perfect spot to host a wedding. A tent, catering tent and restroom trailer were delivered for the reception. Ceremony and cocktail hour took place at the waters edge just down the hill from the tent. Truly a beautiful location to host a quintessential Maine wedding. Lodging is nearby and a short 10 minute drive to downtown. As the planner of an event, the space was easy to work within. The property owner was wonderful to work with and quick to answer any questions. I am looking forward to working with more clients at Board Landing Farm!

    We worked with Board Landing for a wedding celebration in August of 2022. The venue is beautiful and pastoral, and lent itself well to having both the ceremony down by the water and reception up the hill overlooking the Bay. It would a pleasure to work there again in the future -- if you're looking to have a wedding that exudes summertime charm in Maine, this is a sure bet.

    I got married at the Board Landing Farm, about a year ago. I still can't believe how picture perfect it turned out. My wife grew up in Maine and we couldn't have a asked for a better location and venue to exchange our vows and share it with our closest friends and family. Right from the very beginning, BLF was easy to work with, and given it's easy location, most of our vendors had either experience or familiarity with the venue. Tents were set up 2 days prior to the wedding day, florist decorated the day of, and the catering had their own access way to be out of the way for the guests. Best part was the landscape setting for the photographers to work their magic - the waterfall, the tidal river, the pier, the large glacial rock, the expansive but unique lawn, and the rustic farmhouse - all added to the magic. In the end, me and wife made some beautiful memories that will stay with us forever. If you're looking to get married anywhere in Maine, it is hard to beat BLF as a wedding venue.
