Boothbay Playhouse Weddings is a spacious, unique, barn-style wedding venue located on the beautiful Boothbay peninsula. This charming historic theater is ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other special events from April to early December. We include what many barn venues don't: cross back chairs farm tables indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces cooling & heating indoor restrooms bridal suite & salon stations groom's den lounge with bar stone patio lawn games screened porch and large deck free parking for 60+ vehicles commercial kitchen prep space 130" projection screen, Wifi, mismatched china, silverware and glassware, DAY OF EVENT COORDINATION. The Playhouse barn theater has hosted regional and national talent such as TV and movie actors Christopher Reeve, Oscar-nominated Tom Hulce, and soap star Maeve McGuire, among others! With the building’s rich history and rustic elegance, it’s the perfect opening scene for your big day! We invite you to write your love story with us.

    My husband and I recently got married at the Boothbay Playhouse and we seriously could not imagine having a better experience. The owners and their staff go above and beyond and were there at every turn to help ensure that we had a memorable weekend. They worked through every detail and logistic with us with clear and quick communication, and were really there for us when we had a few last minute and day of hiccups. The space itself is stunning and rich with history - a true Midcoast Maine gem. We cannot recommend them enough! Be sure to check them out on IG @boothbayplayhouseevents for more information!
