From the social media videos, weekly chats with vendors and couples, overseeing budgets, and making your vision board. There is nothing she can't handle! When she’s not planning the wedding of your dreams, you can be sure Alyssa's running around with her 1-year-old daughter, wrapped up in a good book, or dancing around the living room with her wife, Cynthia. Alyssa graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word, with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Minor in Business. So, you can say her heart has always been in some type of planning.

After getting married in Dripping Springs in 2021, Alyssa fell in love with the wedding world! She knew she wanted to pursue a career in the industry. As a former bride herself, Alyssa knew the importance of having a planner to handle it all the day of!

We Couldn't Have Done It Without Something Blue

To be honest, planning this wedding, especially in those last couple of weeks could not have happened without the help of Alyssa and her team. We both have busy jobs and having someone to keep us on task and help knock things off of the list was a gamechanger. Alyssa was there to answer questions, field calls, and handle vendors. She made the final checks easy and I didn't even think about whether or not my vendors were going to be where they were supposed to be on the day of. And let's talk about the day of -- Alyssa was a rockstar. Her team worked to make sure everything was set up just the way we wanted it and everything went off without a hitch. It was so nice to have someone in our corner who was there not only to celebrate with us but to make sure things went well for us. She communicated timely and effective and was so kind and easy to work with. I felt like she really understood our vision and went above and beyond to make it happen. We loved working with Something Blue and would recommend them to anyone planning their big day.

Let me just start off by saying that I am very bad at deadlines and am not good with figuring out what direction I wanted to take with this wedding. Alyssa was able to take my dislikes and very ambiguous direction and turned our wedding into our dream event. It was so beautiful, fun and an evening to remember forever. I will forever cherish the memories she helped us to create. If you book Alyssa she will treat your event like her own.
