My name is Kaitlyn, and I started Orchid Events after working in event planning for 5 years. I love weddings, and my organizational and communication skills make me really good at it. Most couples are overwhelmed by all the moving pieces involved in this process, but I see an exciting challenge to tackle! I'd love to help you get through the planning process and make it to a relaxed and fun day of celebrating your love!

2 things stand out about my planning services. First, I am extremely organized. You could ask my friends - or my husband! - every aspect of my life is organized, color-coded, alphabetized, or otherwise sorted in an intentional way. This means I am on top of it for every aspect of your event. Second, is my focus on you & your event. In order to give you my full attention and excitement, I take on a limited numbers of clients per year, and never more than one per weekend.

Description	Full service planning makes me your partner throughout the entire wedding planning process! Reach out as soon as you'd like to start planning, and I'll support you through every step - as much or as little as you'd like - until the end of your wedding weekend!	This offering is completely customizable! When you need more than our event coordination packages, but have some things under control so you don't need full service - let's make a partial package for you! This ranges from $2,750-$4,250 depending on the number of additional vendors, events, or planning steps you would like support during.	For wedding coordination, we start working together a few months before your wedding. I learn about everything you've planned so far, plan and join all your final vendor meetings, create and manage the timeline for the event, and help you wrap up the details for the best day! On wedding weekend, I take over the management of your vendors and timeline so you can relax and enjoy!

I would go back time and time again and book with Kaitlyn! She was absolutely amazing on wedding day but even more in the weeks leading up to it. She took all of my stress and burden and made everything perfect! So so happy with our end result. Do yourself a favor and book with Orchid Events!

I used Kaitlyn as my day of wedding coordinator, but she was way more than that. She helped make sure I was organized beforehand, she came to final meetings with me, she gave me great tips and advice leading up to the wedding. On my actual wedding day, Kaitlyn made sure everything went smoothly so myself, my husband, my mom, and bridal party could enjoy a lovely day without any of the stress. Most people say something always goes wrong, but not for me and if it did Kaitlyn still hasn’t told me about it. I would recommend her to everyone I know and everyone planning a wedding. She is talented, detailed oriented, calm, and a wonderful addition to any wedding.

No, I will never have more than one couple per weekend. In fact, in order to give you my full attention and excitement, I take on a limited number of clients each year, so you likely won't have any events near yours on my calendar!

Yes, I can help you plan any and every event from proposal to day-after brunch!

On your wedding day, I'll most likely be around for about 8 hours. We'll work together to determine what makes the most sense for your specific event though! Leading up to the wedding, we'll check in every month (for full service clients) and then every week or so for the last 2 months (full service and coordination clients). I'll join you for lots of meetings with your vendors, too, so it adds up to a lot of time spent together!

All events will be led by owner and lead planner, Kaitlyn. There may be assistants added to the day if needed, but Kaitlyn will always be your main point of contact and on site for the duration of your contracted time.
