Hi there! I'm Michelle, owner of Glamorous Weddings. I spend so much time with my clients, I like to get to know them better, individually and as a couple. In late December 2009, I started working for an online bridal shop selling wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories. The online side grew and quickly turned into a storefront and an online division. I was able to work hands-on with brides helping them feel beautiful and finding the perfect dress! In 2010 one of my good friends got married. She was expecting family to come in with speakers for the reception but found out a couple of hours beforehand that they weren't coming.

I was able to call a local rental company and get the speakers she needed within 15 minutes. In 2012 I decided it was time to open Glamorous Weddings. Since then, we've helped couples all over the Dayton area create unforgettable memories. Glamorous Weddings has been in the business of making couples just like you relaxed since 2012! We are not only certified but we are also fully insured. During our consultation, I will get to hear how you met, how long you've been together, and what makes your story so special.

Glamorous Weddings helped plan and coordinate my wedding. I could not imagine the day without Michelle. She truly made it perfect. I knew when I got engaged, I wanted to hire a coordinator to help execute the wedding day. Michelle does so much more. From the moment we started talking she started helping deal with planning tasks and making me think of many things I had not thought of. She had an answer to every question I had and many I would have never thought of. Throughout the whole planning process I always felt that I had someone I could go to and no question was deemed unimportant. Our rehearsal went so smoothly and everyone knew what to expect the day of. Michelle took much of the stress of wedding planning out of the planning. From the useful planning tools she provides to the very detailed timeline, everything is thought of. The day of the wedding, Michelle made sure that the bridal party and our family had absolutely nothing to worry about. She executed our vision perfectly for the decor. I walked out and saw our reception area and was stunned! The day was truly perfect down to the last detail and it would not have been anywhere as amazing as it was without Michelle and her assistant Carrie! When small issues arose, Michelle quickly took care of them without having it impact our day as the bride and groom. Talking with Michelle is like talking to a friend and having someone who so quickly feels like a friend be a part of such an intimate and important day truly makes a difference. I would recommend anyone I know getting married to work with Michelle and Glamorous Weddings.

I’ve worked with Glamorous Weddings three times as a vendor. They are absolutely incredible at what they do. No detail is left out and I’ve watched with awe as they keep everything running smoothly. They are polite, thorough, kind, and fun. I’m always thrilled when I know I’ll be working with them because I know everything; from ceremony through to the final send off will be run with precision and a smile. If I weren’t married already, I’d hire them in an instant!

Great question! As a coordinator, it's our job to stay in touch with your vendors to answer any questions they have, confirm your order, and inform them of any updates. We also help you pick out the linens, napkins, decor, centerpieces, you name it! Once we get closer to the wedding date, we'll work together on building a personalized timeline for the wedding day. Everything from the start of hair and makeup to the last dance will be listed so you, your family, and your vendor team know what is happening and when.

Your venue coordinator is there for the building you're hosting your wedding at. They are the ones to call upon to make sure the tables and chairs are set up how you requested, the fix clogged toilets, and other building issues. Glamorous Weddings takes care of everything else. Your venue coordinator isn't going to be placing linens (unless you've paid them to do it), they won't be setting up any ceremony decor (unless you've paid to rent it from them), and they won't be packing things up after the wedding. We are on-site for up 14 hours on the day of your wedding to ensure that everything is set up the way you envisioned it.

We hear this a lot! While it might seem like a great idea for your DJ to also be your "coordinator", simply put, they can't be. While they're doing their job of keeping your guests entertained and playing music, how can they also do behind the scene things like making sure the caterer doesn't cut the top tier of your cake, bustle your dress because it came undone from earlier, or check on your immediate family members to make sure they're taken care of? Together, Glamorous Weddings works with your vendors as a team to ensure everything is being done the way you want.
