We are Contagious Events: a Boston wedding planning team specializing in unique celebrations for fun-loving couples who are too extraordinary for a cookie-cutter wedding day. With a passion for creating memories, we will help design and orchestrate the event you’ve always dreamed of. 

Contagious Events is all about making wedding planning as individual as you are. Rule number one - Throw out the 'should's'. All of them. We don't use templates for anything. Not for budgets, not timelines, not ceremony scripts. Nothing. Nada. Everything is custom made, from scratch, for each couple. To keep it simple, we charge a flat fee pricing. No percentages, no commissions. No hourly rates or overtime. No surprises. We’re also all about paying it forward. We grab any flowers still hanging around after your guests have long gone, give them a little refresh, and hand deliver them to a local hospice to bring a smile to their residents.

Planning a smaller celebration? Intimate weddings are our jam! From venue coordination to more unique requests, we'll work with you to create the ultimate plan for an unforgettable experience you'll share with your guests.

It’s official. You’re finally engaged (with the ring to prove it). You’ve been waiting for this moment long enough and now that the urge to yell “I’m engaged” from atop Fenway’s Green Monster has started to subside, it’s time to start planning. We'll guide you along the entire process - including assisting with the venue selection, budget creation, and understanding your overall design.

You started planning and already have the big stuff (caterer, venue) taken care of... but let's face it: you've never planned a wedding before- it's time to bring in a pro to take care of all the details. This package is the solution for anyone in need of something in between full planning and month of coordination.

    Joe and the Contagious Events team really made our day and planning process so flawless. As a bride who is a bit of a control freak, booking Contagious Events for their Primetime package was perfect. They helped build a literal perfect timeline that worked so well, all while working with what we really wanted for our day. On top of that, the day of events team we had with Amber and Kim were amazing. They were incredibly helpful, calming, and took care of what felt like everything. Our families were able to relax, celebrate and have fun because of them. We are forever grateful that we worked with this team. Do not hesitate booking them!

    Joe and his team are an absolute wedding must have! Joe is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure that every detail you want is included and on budget. Gale and Joe handled all of the contracts, reaching out to different vendors and different options, day of “emergencies”, bustling my dress, handling our dog ring bearer, etc. Our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Joe and Gale.

    Joe and his team are incredible. All I wanted from the wedding planning experience was to be able to communicate what I wanted and have a planner do all the rest. Joe did this PLUS MORE. I told him what I was looking for and he set up most of the vendors (all phenomenal), made the process seamless and dare I say... fun?? I was not stressed out once during the entire process, Joe told me exactly what I needed to do and gave generous deadlines so that there was no crunch time as the wedding approached. I am indebted to him for making the wedding planning process (and also the day of) a time I can look back on with glee and happiness instead of having it colored by how stressed and anxious I could have been. It rained on our wedding day and Joe scoured all the radars he had to find a time and assure me we could still have the wedding we wanted outside. He was not only right, but was cool as a cucumber the entire time. We discovered about 45 minutes before dinner that the one thing I tried to do on my own (the place cards for tables) was all wrong. Without me knowing, Joe brought HIS OWN PLACE CARDS that were correct and absolutely saved the day. Without his forethought, my husbands grandparents would have ended up at the table in the back corner and all the other tables would have been wrong as well. Joe and his team are more than worth the money for an incredible experience that you enjoy doing, so you can simply sit back and enjoy yourself the way you should on your wedding day.
