I’m a husband to my high school sweetheart, I’m a dad to three gorgeous little girls, and I love my city of Costa Mesa, CA. Me in a nutshell...good coffee, bacon, and whiskey are my jam. A perfect day off consists of a mountain bike ride, some tacos, and swimming in our pool with my wife and daughters. I spent over 8 years in jobs that sucked the life out of me, but now I have one that breathes life back into me. You see, photography is not my identity…but it's definitely an extension of how I was created to see life. And I got into capturing meaningful moments because I am all about the life behind the moment, not just the event.

As a huge of fan of marriage and not just the wedding day, I love to come alongside my couples and support and encourage them as they approach this new adventure. With over 10 years of experience in shooting weddings, I love to serve you not only with my editorial approach to photography, but also with my extensive knowledge of what goes into a wedding day in general.

This is for the couple that wants the full service experience! We will be there from start to finish on your wedding day, from getting ready at the hotel to your grand exit at the end of the night. Your engagement session will allow for multiple locations, multiple outfits, and a consultation call beforehand to help with vision and planning. If you have a killer welcome dinner/rehearsal the night before, I'll be there for that as well.

This is the most popular package that covers everything you need. The engagement session is perfect as practice for the wedding day and a super fun way to better get to know each other. Having 2 photographers on the wedding day also offers the perfect coverage for all those fun moments. Also, I make sure to provide you with more edited images than you'll know what to do with!

This is the meat and potatoes package that gives you what you need just for your wedding day. No frills, just enthusiastic, hi-quality photo coverage of your wedding day. Generally for couples pursuing a smaller or less-involved wedding day up to 120 guests and no need for an engagement session.

Steve did our engagement photos, family photos, tea ceremony photos, and wedding photos for us. He makes you feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera and the photo results show it. I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

This will be based on our initial consultation and on the size of your event. If a 2nd photographer is required I have a pool of other very talented photogs to choose from based on availability.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. My style seeks to maintain as much of the authentic, non-photoshopped look as possible while still making sure the final product is up to my standards.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. My goal is always to deliver them sooner and I also LOVE sending you teasers along the way so have something to look forward to.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
