How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 2

Will our pictures be edited?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like teeth whitening for an additional charge.

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online 8 weeks after your wedding. However you will receive a small gallery of a few sneak peaks within 48 hours! After your full gallery is delivered and viewed, 8 weeks from your wedding, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Question 6

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them. I will need 7 days advanced notice to get this provided timely.

Question 7

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues, an associate shooter. This photographer will seamlessly take over for me at no additional cost to you. I will still edit all of your images personally.

What happens if your camera stops working?

Don’t you worry. I use two professional cameras and those cameras both have two camera card slots. So if one of my camera cards stopped working for any reason, I have an automatic backup, of every image. Within hours of your wedding, I will have four backups made of every detail.

Question 9

Do you provide unedited original RAW files?

Accepted Answer

The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.

How does the process work?

First, fill out the contact form here to provide details including your wedding or event date, location, and tell me a bit about what you are looking for. I’ll then schedule us a time to chat — on a call, FaceTime, or over a drink/coffee — so I can get to know the two of you a little bit more! If you decide you would like to move forward with securing the date, I will send a wedding contract for your review. Once that is signed and a 25% retainer is paid, your date is secured!

When will we schedule the engagement shoot?

Right away! First of all, I am so excited to meet you both. Second, I want you to have your images for your Save the Date cards, your wedding website, or anything you could possibly need.
