Snowdrop Creative Co. was born from a dream. A dream that I could do the things that I LOVE, be present for my children and my partner, and create work that I am proud of. It sounds like what we all wish for, right? Well, it isn't always so simple as "I want this, so I'm doing it." I spent ten years in retail management. I spent long days away from my family, only to get home to them and be too tired to enjoy my time with them. My life was cold and dreary, and I knew something had to change. And so, Snowdrop was born. A place where I can create and love what I do. Capture memories and magic and joy in a single moment.

    This is Alex Herman. We hired her to photograph our wedding and the entire experience was anything but pleasant. We were way overcharged for everything, even with the discount we were given. It took Alex 5 months to get our photos to us. She used every excuse in the book as to why they were delayed. A professional photographer would do everything they could to ensure prompt delivery of their product. Alex did not. When we looked at our photos, we noticed a lot of them were missing, including the video. There were two teaser videos that we could not open, because they’re corrupted. The quality of the photos were very poor. Her assistants did a better job than she did. A five year old could take better pictures than her. Please do not waste your time or money with Alex. There are plenty of better photographers out there.

    This is Alexandra Herman from Snowdrop Creative Co. She is known to block reviews and block her customers that she screws over so she can continue to make her business look "successful." I had seen bad reviews and didn't believe it until I experienced it. I unfortunately had the misfortune of having her as not only our engagement photographer but wedding photographer as well. If you want an unprofessional scam artist that takes over your wedding, treats her crew like crap, argues with your caterers and other wedding personel, takes you away from your wedding, and makes your wedding a living nightmare then this is the person for you. We were scammed over 7000 dollars (she will say we only lost over 4000 dollars). We tried to file a civil case which cost 296...heres the catch Alex's contract is a sham. She is lazy and incompetent so she leaves out a due date for her customers to receive photos. We got married in May and didn't get our photos until October with no communication around August. She loves to use excuses as to why not to get her product to her customers and then thinks she can make it up by offering a photo album .... Please don't fall for her trap! There's a million photographers out there that can make your wedding magical. Don't stress yourself with this one.

    I engaged with the owner of this company for my elopement. The agreement was for officiant services along with a photographer for up to 3 hours and a photo assistant who would serve as our second witness. Very little care or effort went into making us feel special but that wouldn’t have been enough to prompt a review. We got 2 hours of service before the owner was saying we were done, it felt strange since we paid for 3 hours. Our photos were delivered late both for the 48-hour preview and for the final gallery. The owner chose to share stories of circumstances that made her late with my items which made it seem like I would be unreasonable not to excuse the lateness. I was offered a few 4x6 or 5x7 prints as an apology for being late (which I can get prints in that size for free on Shutterfly so not much of an offer). However I was also told I’d receive a video and TikTok which I have still not received and it has been over 11 weeks since my wedding (contract promised it all in 6 weeks). I have tried to speak with the owner about this but after 7 texts and 2 emails she’s not answered in the last 2 weeks I felt I needed to warn others of the level of professionalism that can be expected. Absolutely not worth the amount I paid.

    We booked Alexandra with Snowdrop Creative Co for a family photo session. Our toddler is a very active and spicy toddler, and Alexandra's patience with him paid off! She gave great suggestions for poses or things to try with him (swing him up in the air to get him to giggle, swing him while we walk, let him "race" and run towards her) and despite my anxiety about being able to get any usable photos (we've failed with other photographers in the past), we got several! She was totally willing to roll with it and let him do some exploring while she worked on candid shots of the family and it turns out those were our favorites. We got some fantastic posed family shots, but her patience and flexibility with letting our toddler drive the session got us some incredible relaxed family photos that don't look awkward or rehearsed. I'm so grateful for her experience and expertise! She was wonderful to work with, and had top notch communication throughout the entire process.
