I come from a close knit family of 7, grew up in Sacramento, CA, and now have a super supportive husband while raising 2 fun, spunky children in San Diego, CA that mean the world to me. I believe that FAMILY IS EVERYTHING. I promise to capture the details, but most importantly, the people and moments that surround you on your wedding day.

I'll capture the details but focus on the people and moments that create your story. Telling your story through pictures is only half of the experience. I want to create a fun and relaxing vibe where you know I'm there for you. The end goal is for you to relive the day as you flip through the pages of your heirloom album for years to come.     We loved working with Sandra during the entire wedding process! I was stressed finding the perfect photographer, and she was so responsive to my first inquiry, hopped on the phone, and immediately gave me such great vibes. She's sweet, understanding, gave me a lot of peace of mind, and stood out among other photographers I spoke with at a similar price range (not to mention very experienced and a pro at what she does!). While I didn't book an engagement session, we met in person before our wedding and she was so fun to hang out with, listened to my concerns without judgment, and was so comforting! She was calm and orderly and kept to schedule on our wedding day, was so kind to our guests, and got all of our photos without putting too much pressure on us or taking us away from the event. I don't love taking photos, and she made me feel so beautiful, confident, and natural on the day. We absolutely love our photos, and am so happy to have worked with Sandra!!

    We got married in Spring of 2021 and this review is LONG overdue! Sandra and her husband Fernando were amazing to work with! I still look back and think about how easy it was to be around them and feel comfortable. They were recommended by our wedding planner. Their videography skills were top notch and we loved our classic long and sneak peek short films. I am forever grateful for their talent and guidance throughout the wedding day festivities, constantly keeping everything in order to capture the best moments. And their wonderful personalities were a joy to be around! Sandra has that artistic eye and somehow kept things light by making us laugh a lot:) She also communicated well giving us updates on when to expect the videos. Thank you for everything!! I highly recommend Sandra Yvette Photography to anyone looking for those raw, natural moments on such a special day.
