Welcome. My name is Nathan Colbert, and I am a photographer at heart. What is the difference between a photographer and a photographer at heart? For myself personally, photography is more than just a job or a hobby; it is a state of mind. Walking through life, I am always looking for the beauty and excitement in everything. There is always something to see and something to take away from any situation. I believe that lesson can be learned from photography.

    Nathan took the best pictures for my wedding which is why when we had our son we also had him take pictures at our celebration. He truly is the best most professional photographer we’ve ever had and will continue to use him for all of our special moments. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Unlike other reviewers, our experience with Nathan was bitter sweet. While the photographs he took came out great along with our unedited ceremony video, that’s about where the positives seem to stop for us. Our package with him was also suppose to include a highlights video that we were expecting at the same with our ceremony video. After waiting approximately 5 weeks he gave us the response that the ceremony video would be sent the following day, but that the footage for the highlights video was “misplaced” which confused us. Not deleted or corrupted for wording. He offered a partially refund since that footage was gone. To get the refund at first was suppose to be about 4 business days, but after 2 weeks we hadn’t seen anything so we reached out about it again. He responded quickly, and offered another way of refunding us the money that was instant. Even though we had got the refund, we wanted to keep as much of the memories of our day as possible with any available footage since it was our planned big day for us. He agreed to help by getting a custom wedding album for us and a USB drive of all the photos in full resolution. This was a nice gesture as the album also had a few more photos in them compared to our original set and was very well created. But when we received the album in the mail, there was no USB drive with it. We reached out to him again about it, and could only guess he forgot it and he sent that out separately the following day. With it being a roller coaster of an experience, it wasn’t until recently that we re-watched the ceremony video and noticed he got our wedding date wrong in the intro. Sent another message about that, hoping for some response back on it and it’s been over a week and counting and it’s silent. Me and my wife decided to just cut our losses at this point. Once again, the quality of work was good, but the rest of the experience soured us from recommending him to any of our family and friends.

    This review is long over due. I was married last year on October 23,2020 and I used Nathan Colbert Photography for my wedding video footage. Nathan was very professional and gathered a lot of footage. I love that this company does work with their clients budget and that they go above and beyond to take amazing footage. Our wedding was pretty big and we were going to have 2-3 guys for video footage but the end I chose just to have an intimate wedding video for our memories. We absolutely loved our wedding view. This company was nothing but amazing and hardworking. If you are looking for a company that will cater to your needs and experience for photography or videography. I highly recommend.
