Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me 6 to 12 months in advance. It depends on the date you're interested in and I like to leave some dates open for you adventurous souls who want to elope on a shorter time frame.

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Yes! You are allowed to add on a second shooter to any wedding package.

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also apply retouching services like blemish removal, teeth whitening, etc (as needed) on the portraits.

Q: Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. However, I do offer a preferred vendors list that includes a list of videographers that I know and trust.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time for your full wedding gallery is 8-10 weeks. I send some sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding day of the bride + groom. Within 4-6 weeks I deliver a preview gallery including photos from throughout the day.

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 4 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Q: Do you travel?

A million times, YES. I customize each travel package depending on air fare, gas, sleeping accommodations, etc as needed so you're not paying for more than we need.

I am a Denver, CO based photographer with an inclination to travel. I am constantly inspired by new environments and experiences which I consider each wedding day to be. I've been in the wedding industry for 4+ years and no two wedding days have been the same and in my opinion, that's how it should be, as no two couple's story are the same. I picked up a camera at age 18 and just have yet to set it down at age 25. My aussie, Dixie, has been with me every step of the way and loves to travel herself. I am a hard core foodie and will try anything at least once (as will Dixie).

This job is such a beautiful way to blend my creativity and someone's story in the same moment. I strive to capture your moments as you remember them so your memories can be as authentic as possible. If you're a believer in the enneagram - I am an 8 and consider myself a chameleon personality in an environment where there can be lots of moving parts. I can be a leader or a follower; a firm advocate or a fly on the wall. Whatever is shown to be needed on your day.

Madison is the absolute best! She captured my bridal and wedding photos and all of the pictures turned out amazing! I was pretty nervous for my bridal photos but she was really helpful with posing and making it not feel awkward and they turned out great! As for the wedding photos, I don’t think anything could top the pictures she took! She’s truly amazing at what she does! I am so glad I reached out to her for my wedding! The pictures all turned out perfect and she was also very organized throughout the planning process as well. She shares tips and things I likely wouldn’t have thought of leading up to the big day! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a photographer! Adding some pics below so you can see how great she is!

From the moment we first reached out to MK Photography, their communication was detailed, quick, and incredibly informative. I cannot recommend Madison enough—she’s seriously THE BEST! From the moment we started chatting about my wedding to the day of, she showed up with her sweet and chill vibe and made everything feel so easy and natural, even when the day was *chaos*. She has such an amazing eye and captured literally all the little moments I didn’t even know I’d want to remember (like our pups or that sweet look my husband gave me during the first dance). The photos are beyond stunning—Pinterest-worthy, dreamy, and exactly how I pictured them. If you’re thinking about booking her, just full send it. Trust me, you’ll thank me later! I wish I could add more than 5 stars! Madison is hands down one of the best photographers I have encountered! I had been following her work on instagram after a friend got her family portraits done & I knew I just HAD to have her for my wedding! She did photos for my bridals, boudoir, wedding & our maternity photos. I can honestly say all of these photos were above and beyond what we were hoping for. The quality and creativity of the photos were outstanding!! She makes you feel comfortable & relaxed. She is very energetic & engaging, and made taking the photos fun. I would recommend her 100x to anyone & everyone!
