Hi! My name is Melissa and I have been shooting weddings for over 10 years. Growing up in Chicago, I was always taking pictures of the city until I developed a passion for capturing special moments for people in an artistic way! I think what sets me apart is that not only do I want to simply take beautiful photos, but I want my couples to feel like they're reliving the moment when they look back at them.

    I have worked with Melissa Lauren Images since the owner first moved to Tampa Bay from up North in the early 2000's. The quality of her work has remained consistent over the years and her pricing is still fair and reasonable. Melissa is one of our favorite photographers because she captures more than just "people pictures." She also captures much of the food and decor as well - items that are probably some of the biggest portions of the wedding budget. Most photographers forget these elements. One of the biggest pluses is Melissa's quick turnaround time in getting edited photos (on line link) back to clients. She is probably the fastest in the area. She offers all the "bells and whistles" that other more expensive photograhers do but keeps her pricing down so client can splurge if they choose to with extra hours, second photographer, curated albums, etc. I highly recommend Melissa Lauren Images for couples who want quality without outrageous pricing.
