Do you know what I love the most about my job? People. The people that I photograph. The people that I get to know. Their lives, and the story that has helped to shape them. There are never two stories that are the same. Life is beautiful that way. I began my journey as a photographer happenstance- I took some photography college credits because I loved the art, and wanted to fulfill a degree in it. Photography helped me to outwardly express the visions that I dreamed of, the visions that I couldn’t express into words.

    Not only as a wedding and event planner but as a client, we have worked numerous times with Lavender Leigh! Leigh is so easy to work with, sweet, kind and overall just amazing at what she does! The natural light she looks for always is classic and timeliness and her pictures are stunning. I, Ali, had a boudoir done with Leigh for my husband as a gift for our first anniversary. I was nervous and overall never super confident about my body. Leigh made my boudoir session not only turn out beautiful but she helped me love my body and enjoy the process and the session. It was a wonderful experience and I am SO glad I did it! I will cherish the photos forever. Leigh is organized and timely. She is professional yet friendly and personable. Barry is so much fun and the guys of the weddings always have a good time with him! These two are a wonderful pair and are so good at what they do! We cannot recommend them enough.

    I contacted Leigh as a recommendation from my now M-I-L after she had met her at a co-worker's wedding. She raved about how professional Leigh was and couldn't say enough about her work. When I contacted Leigh she was willing to meet me for coffee (which most of the photographers that I contacted refused until I signed a contract) as I wanted to make sure that I "jived" with the photographer who was going to be with me and spending a lot of time with me on my big day. Thirty minutes turned into an hour and I thought Leigh would be perfect for us. She is extremely professional, friendly and flexible. We did our engagement pictures with our pups when there was flooding and she didn't bat an eye. She was very attentive during our big day and her husband, Barry was equally as fantastic. With our wedding and engagement over, we are so glad to say that we have a TON of beautiful pictures and would recommend Leigh to anyone. AMAZING!
