Hello! I started taking photos in 2016 on a point and shoot camera on automatic mode (yikes!). After much practice and patience, I upgraded my starter camera for a Nikon D850 and shoot strictly manual mode. I am SO thankful for the growth of this business and I have come to love all my clients. ​​I grew up here in Pensacola, FL! I graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2021 with a degree in business & graphic design. My goal is to become a traveling wedding photographer and remote graphic designer.

Our mission at EMJ Visuals is to capture moments of genuine joy. Not only the big moments like walking down the aisle on your wedding day but also the small moments like a scrunched nose and an obnoxious belly laugh. We are here to capture those precious moments for you to keep forever. We believe that sometimes the smallest moments touch the heart in the deepest way.

    When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew that the one thing that we needed to be sure of was a photographer. We reached out to dozens of photographers and there was only one specific photographer that we absolutely wanted to go with and that was ERIKA! Erika was extremely thoughtful and kind. She heard and understood our wants and needs. Erika was extremely flexible and gave us ideas on what to do and how to pose for absolutely stunning photos! We are extremely grateful to have had Erika be part of such a special day in our lives and be able to capture these special moments that we will forever be able to cherish and look back on.     Erika has shot with me at 10+ weddings now and each time she does a fantastic job. I can count on her to help me with whatever I need but I can also count on her to go above and beyond. She’s friendly, professional and reliable. She puts everyone she works with at ease and gets the job done with a smile. I had a wedding go two hours over the agreed time once and we were already exhausted from the long day and I told her she could go home but she happily stayed the entire time with no complaint. Cannot recommend Erika enough.
