hi, i’m courtney! over the past decade, i’ve perfected the art of being a wallflower while still being able to capture the details needed to complete a story. graduating from ucf with an art degree, it’s pretty easy to say i’m an artist at heart. i’m quiet, observant, empathetic, and one would say i'm the calming aura in the room (my mom… my mom says this lol). these traits have always carried over into my photography, but i could never categorize them properly, until now. as a documentary-style photographer, my job is to be me; observational, honest, authentic, and calming, while curating and composing your unique story into two dimensions.

imagine pulling out your wedding album in 50 years and reminiscing through a detailed timeline of events that transport you immediately back into that room that is so full of unconditional love. that’s what i do. my job as your photographer is to be fully present in your day, observe, and artistically capture the true and authentic moments that unfold around me. i stay in the background while capturing all the natural emotions that occur and the important details that go along with them. i look for movement, light, soft glances, belly laughs, vulnerability, chaos, joy, life, and most importantly, love.
