About this venue

The Banyan Estate is the premier, historic event venue in Brevard County, Florida. Today, you can still see the beauty and grace of the property starting with the classical architecture and continuing with the spacious grounds. Not the least of which is the magnificent Banyan Tree that has flourished on the back lawn and inspired the naming of The Banyan Estate. Built as the area’s first county school in 1927, the Historic Malabar Schoolhouse has been used for many purposes over the years and the owners continue to meet local residents who know and love the property and add to its unique vintage character. The owners of The Banyan Estate have always had a love for historic architecture and vintage elements. As you step onto the Banyan Estate, each room and outdoor space shows you its own personality and elegance providing a perfect backdrop to add your style and creativity to your special event. The Terrace Room – First Floor

Original, restored double-hung sash windows line the building on both the upper and lower floors providing wonderful light all throughout the day.

The Terrace is perfect for dancing, dinner, ceremonies, and social functions. An inviting room with open rafters, elegant chandeliers and lined on multiple sides with french doors that flows effortlessly to the terrace and outdoor lawns.

The Chandelier Room – Second Floor

Each room of The Banyan Estate has been lovingly restored from the beautiful crafted floors to the vintage chandeliers.

The Chandelier Room, a beautiful space accessible by two grand wood staircases, is an elegant setting for dinners, ceremonies, social activities, and more. Abundant natural light, and sweeping views of the grounds from the upper floor bring an upscale feel to this room.
