Hi Abby, Thank you for taking the time to detail your experience with me. I am sorry you had such a negative experience. I would like to respond to a few things you pointed out in your review to hopefully clarify some things. A second photographer is utilized for additional angles & to capture moments I may miss because I'm off at a different location (think of when your family photos were the same time as your cocktail hour). I can assure you that your gallery was not just images from my second photographer. With your multiple requests for candids of you & your guests, I made the artistic decision to put emphasis on your ceremony kiss from behind to capture those candid guest reactions. I apologize if you did not like that. Responding to your notes on your engagement photos, I wish you had told me you felt awkward during the process and that you did not like them. The only response I received was “They are great and we are so glad we decided to take engagement photos”. I assure you if I had known at that moment you were unhappy, I would have been taking steps to reschedule the session to correct it. As for your wedding day, I believe I had put the emphasis on capturing candids throughout your day. I did try to stay back and capture these unfolding events, so I do apologize if this came across as that I wasn’t trying to interact or speak with you- that certainly was not my intention and I will work on this for the future. It was also never my intention to rush you, so I do apologize if you felt rushed. I know we were working on a shortened timeline for some moments of your day. I assure you that I do care about your experience and the quality of photos I provide. I’d also like to clarify that we have been in communication over the amount of images you received, and this is the first I am hearing about the quality of your images. Part of capturing candids is the fact that the subject is not looking at the camera, it’s capturing the moment as it’s unfolding. The quality of images is in line with my other work, which can be found on my website & social media. Overall, I do apologize about your negative experience. I will certainly take your feedback to heart, and I wish you both the best in your future endeavors. Catie
