Yes, we require a minimum of 4 services. That can be 4 hair or 4 makeup or 2 hair and 2 makeup.

NOPE! Because we are are a team we have as many stylists/makeup artists as needed for your day. You just let us know how many services and when you need to be ready by and we will handle the rest!

Yes we do! We are a full service bridal beauty team.

Then we are a perfect fit! We specialize in soft glam. We take a more natural approach to makeup and just enhance your features instead of giving a full glam makeover. Bear in mind that for photo purposed, you do need a bit more makeup than you'd normally wear, but you will still look natural and beautifully you! Our brides often comment on how weightless their foundation feels and how natural their makeup looks.

Yes, we absolutely do and we highly recommend extensions because they make the styles look so much better! Extension install is complimentary for the bride and there is a small fee for bridal party styles. We just need to know ahead of time so we can adjust the timeline and invoice accordingly.

Nope! We are based in San Diego but we are willing to travel to anywhere our brides need us. Travel fees are based on distance traveled.

Yes, we offer and encourage bridal previews. We recommend scheduling your preview 2-3 months before your wedding date. We do not offer complimentary services. A bridal preview is invoiced and scheduled as a separate service. Once your preview is booked, we will send an invoice. There is a retainer fee required to hold the preview date and the remaining balance is due at time of service.

The week of your wedding, we send and email with detailed prep instructions for both hair and makeup. No, dirty hair is not best. That is a myth. Dirty hair actually will not hold a curl and works against any texture needed for your style.

This is very common and yes, we offer a relocation option so that you can have all your getting ready photos at your venue.

I at the time of my wedding had hair that reached just below my chin at its longest! Unless you knew me and saw me frequently you would never have guessed! I had a vision for my lips-a specific color, and when I told Kandra this she said great let’s do this. Kandra did my makeup for both my engagement photos and wedding day, she also did my hair on my wedding day. She worked magic! My hair stayed all night and even more impressive in my books my makeup still looked good 12 hours later! I took a pic and sent it to her the next day.

The best team ever! They were the sweetest team! I did not schedule a preview hair/makeup look and Kendra and her team worked their magic on my wedding day. I have never had professional hair and makeup done and they did an amazing job and left me in tears! Highly recommend you won’t regret.

They were fun on the morning of and kept the vibes so fun on the morning of. Future brides! Kandra the Twirly Shears glam team is truly so special! You will not doubt how important you are as a client from the moment you book and throughout wedding planning, you will look forward to have these amazing women with you on your day! They made my girls and I feel so beautiful, and confident to walk down the aisle. They were seriously our built-in besties in the bridal suite vibing to our playlist & having so much fun getting us ready!
