Hi! My name is Rachel & I am the owner of The Lost Garden, located in Cherry Hill NJ. I have been doing special occasion hair and makeup for almost seven years, and bridal hair and makeup for over five. I LOVE love and I would be absolutely honored to be a part of your special day.

I am the stylist that wants the morning of your wedding to be a comfortable, calm, & relaxing, experience. I work with bridal parties of all sizes, whether its just you, you and 10 good friends/family, or anything in between. My goal is to make you feel like the best version of yourself so you can look good and feel better on the best day of your life.

My wedding-day experience with Rachel was an 11/10. Rachel really wowed me even before the wedding day, beginning with my bridal hair and makeup trial. She really took her time - not once did I feel rushed. She also communicated every step of the way to ensure she was accomplishing my desired look and requested feedback in such an open and friendly way that I never felt nervous requesting a tweak here or there. Rachel’s talent with hair and makeup is remarkable, and her dedication to the client experience is next level. She ensures anyone in her chair feels beautiful, heard, and cared for from start to finish. On the actual wedding day, Rachel arrived a couple minutes earlier than our start-time and was able to set up and get started by 7:30 AM on the dot. This really set the tone for the day, demonstrating Rachel’s professionalism and dedication to her craft. She was so pleasant to chat with and created such a fun, laid-back atmosphere that the whole process felt like getting ready with your best friends before a big night out. Not to mention, Rachel delivered perfection with every hairstyle and makeup look for my mom and bridesmaids, tailored to each person’s vision. I could not have asked for a better experience - I felt absolutely stunning and so confident on my wedding day thanks to her incredible artistry.

Rachel at The Lost Garden was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our very first conversation, she proved to be great listeners who executed exactly what I wanted and what my bridesmaids requested. She was open to our suggestions and collaborated with us every step of the way to ensure we were happy with our hair & makeup. Rachel’s work was of the highest quality - she is super professional, sweet and kind, and truly helped make the day special. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be a part of our wedding day!

As someone who doesn't wear make up on a daily basis I was very skeptical of doing a full bridal make up look for my special day, but Rachel took the time to listen to my concerns and provided her professional input to ensure I felt my very best on my special day, and boy did I! I felt so beautiful and confident with my hair and make up done! I've had issues in the past with fake lashes since i am not used to them but the way Rachel placed them i forgot I even had them on! It was a long, emotional day but my make up lasted the whole night! I would recommend Rachel over and over again, she was wonderful to work with!
