Hi, I’m Sophie (she/they)! I'm a Makeup Artist, Licensed Esthetician, & studio owner with full-service approach to beauty. I offer skin care, waxing, and makeup services, with a team and on-location availability for weddings. My studio, Face Space Esthetics, is located inside of Sola Salons at 1607 Rt. 23 South in Wayne, NJ.

Description

2.5 hour appointment to come up with your dream wedding makeup look and test its wear. Mini facial is included to prep the skin. Lashes are included, and optional airbrush on one side is included to test wear. Strongly recommended for marriers!

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sophie as our makeup artist for our wedding, and she was nothing short of incredible. From the start, Sophie was down-to-earth, accessible, and truly made the whole process comfortable—especially for my partner, who typically isn’t a huge fan of getting her makeup done. Sophie’s approachable nature and attentiveness to our preferences ensured we felt at ease throughout. Her look book was also such a helpful tool when it came to making decisions about our makeup styles. What initially felt intimidating was made so much easier with her guidance and visual examples, helping us feel confident about the choices we made. While we were getting ready, it genuinely felt like we had another friend in the room—someone ready to celebrate with us and keep the energy light and fun. On the day of our wedding, she went above and beyond, not only perfecting our looks but stepping in to help us problem-solve a last-minute issue with our photobooth vendor, which was deeply appreciated! Our makeup looked absolutely flawless—Sophie made us feel like superstars and ensured we looked and felt our very best for the big day. Her kindness, professionalism, and ability to bring out our confidence with her artistry will always stand out to us.     I cannot recommend Sophie enough for wedding make up. My wife and I used Sophie as our makeup artist for ourselves, our two moms, and my sister-in-law. Getting your make up done is an intimate process and sets the tone for the entire day and with Sophie there I felt beautiful and comfortable the whole time. We were not able to do a make up trial due to my schedule so she worked with me prior to my wedding day via zoom to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. She sent me examples and helped me articulate my vision and even tried the looks on herself so that I could see them come to life. On the day of I felt so glam and powerful. My look lasted through performances and lots of dancing and my pictures from the end of the night are still STUNNING with no touch ups required (though she did provide us with the cutest touch up kits) My wife’s style and comfort with make up is much different than mine so she did a make up trial and Sophie helped her to find a look that was “wedding glam” but still felt authentic. Our looks were very different and incredibly “us” and showed off Sophie’s range and talent. Logistically, she is a complete professional with high end products that she organizes for ease of use and hygiene. Though my make up ran much longer than intended, she had anticipated that and so we still finished exactly on time. I never felt rushed or stressed - only like an absolute queen. It was the perfect way to start my wedding day and was worth every single penny.

Ever since the first call she was so patient and explained to me everything in detailed that I knew she had to be part of my wedding.     I did several facials and other treatments with Sophie to prepare my wedding. My skin changed completely and everybody noticed in my surroundings. In addition, Sophie did the make up for my wedding and the result was astonishing. I am speechless with the quality of services. Sophie is really detailed and understands how to help her clients.
