Bluebird Brides is an on-location luxury bridal hair and makeup service catering to the greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area. We Travel to you, keeping the first moments of your wedding a relaxing (but fun!) experience. Katherine Violette has nearly 15 years of experience in the hair and makeup industry, working for the last 4 years in the Greater Philadelphia area.

She is truly passionate about her Bridal work and enjoys bringing a calming (but fun!) energy to a bride's special day. "There is nothing that brings me more joy than getting to know my clients, and being able to make them feel beautiful on some of the most important moments of their lives! I've had engagement clients that I've had the privilege of glamming up for their wedding day, pregnancy photos, and then family portraits. It's truly a blessing to be able to do what I love for a living and meet so many wonderful couples along the way!"

    I have worked with Katherine of Bluebird Brides multiple times now, and every time is better than the last. She puts effort and care into making you look absolutely amazing. Not only is Katherine beyond comfortable to work with - she makes you feel like you've been friends for ages - but she also has an extremely light touch, which as someone whose dealt with getting her eyes jabbed by others before, is a blessing. Katherine will take the time to make sure you are getting the look you want, and make sure that look stays as fresh as possible during the shoot. 10000/10 will be coming back to her again and again.

    Katherine is EVERYTHING. She's incredibly skilled and experienced at doing gorgeous hair and makeup on all skin tones, facial features, and style preferences. As a photographer I've worked with her dozens of times and she gives our clients an effortless glow and is so pleasant they leave her chair feeling confident and happy!
